- Basic instruction on how to set up a tent and the camp area.
- Expectations and camp rules established.
- Teams established for meal preparation and clean-up and camp chores.

- Participants set up tents and the camp area.
- Participants try various nature games and activities; enjoy hikes, swimming, canoeing or kayaking, bird watching, art activities, or other activities depending on location.
- Participants assist in meal preparation and clean-up and other chores as assigned.
- Participants learn and practice Leave No Trace principles.
