FOREVER EARTH HOUSEBOAT
The vessel is custom fitted to provide space and equipment for a variety of education and research purposes. Some of its features include:
- A combined meeting/galley/helm space and two restrooms (one is ADA accessible) are located on the main deck. There is a full-size refrigerator, stove and oven, sink, and dishwasher located in the galley. Kitchenware, pots and pans, and cleaning supplies are also provided.
- An audiovisual center provides a television monitor, VCR, and surround sound.
- A small laboratory and a computer room are located below the main deck.
- The upper deck is protected by a sunroof; deck chairs are provided.
- Navigational equipment includes a Global Positioning System (GPS), a depth sounder, and radar.
- The vessel’s outfitting and operation include the latest in environmentally conscious technology.
